Zero Carbon One respects the privacy of the business professionals who visit our website and contact us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through https://zerocarbon.one, how we use and protect it, when it is disclosed and how you can exercise your privacy choices.
The public website is operated by Zero Decarbon One Private Limited, E-25/A, Hauz Khas, New Delhi 110016, India (“Zero Carbon One”, “ZCO”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Questions and requests may be sent to info@zerocarbon.one.
Scope. This Policy covers the public website and visitors’ interactions with its pages and content, including blogs, articles, resources, images, videos and downloadable materials. It also covers public contact and demo forms, cookies and related business correspondence. Enterprise accounts are established only following approval by a ZCO administrator and a signed customer agreement and NDA. Customer operational data submitted under those arrangements is governed by the signed documents and is outside the scope of public website enquiries.
Information you provide. When you contact us or request a demonstration, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, company, business email, telephone number, country, service of interest and message. We use public forms for business enquiries. Enterprise records and confidential operational information are handled through the separately approved customer relationship.
Technical information. Our website and its infrastructure generate information needed to deliver pages and content and protect the site, including IP address, approximate country or region inferred from the IP address, browser and device information, pages and resources requested or downloaded, referring page, date and time, and security or error logs. This information can be personal data even if you never complete a form. We do not request precise GPS location from public website visitors.
Cookie and tracking information. Cookies and similar technologies may store or access identifiers on your device. When optional Analytics or Marketing technologies are enabled, they may collect information such as IP address, approximate location, browser and device details, pages visited, referral sources and interaction events. This information may identify or distinguish a visitor without identifying them by name. Cookies used to remember your privacy choices record the preferences you select.
We use website information to:
We use the details supplied in an enquiry to conduct that business conversation. We may also send business contacts promotional emails about ZCO services, updates and events. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time by using the option in the message or contacting info@zerocarbon.one. Opting out does not stop responses to enquiries you initiated or necessary administrative messages.
Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries, operate and secure the website and send relevant B2B communications where consent is not required. We rely on consent for optional Analytics and Marketing technologies and for promotional messages where consent is required. We process information when necessary to meet legal obligations.
We use cookies and similar technologies to support the website, remember privacy choices and, where enabled, measure traffic and marketing activity. The website cookie settings distinguish the following categories:
Strictly necessary. Technologies needed to provide requested website functions, maintain security or remember cookie preferences operate without optional cookie consent. These cannot be disabled through the website cookie controls.
Analytics. Optional technologies help us understand how pages are used, measure website traffic and improve the website. These operate when you select Analytics or Accept all.
Marketing. Optional technologies measure campaign effectiveness and help provide relevant ZCO content. Where deployed, these may include advertising cookies, pixels or similar tools that recognise interactions across websites. These operate when you select Marketing or Accept all. Analytics consent does not authorise Marketing technologies.
Your choices. Accept all enables both optional categories. Reject disables non-essential cookies. Save preferences applies your selected categories. Optional Analytics and Marketing technologies remain disabled until you make an affirmative choice. You may use public website pages after rejecting them and may change or withdraw your choices through the website cookie settings. Changes apply to future use of optional technologies.
Browser controls. You may also delete stored cookies or restrict them through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may affect website functions, and deleting preference cookies may cause the website to ask for your choices again.
Submitting an enquiry authorises us to respond and follow up about the ZCO services relevant to your enquiry. It does not enable optional Analytics or Marketing technologies. Cookie preferences and promotional email opt-outs are managed separately.
Providers supporting ZCO. We share information as needed with providers that support website hosting, security, email delivery and scheduling. Where optional tools are enabled, Analytics and Marketing providers may receive the identifiers and usage information needed for those purposes. Providers acting on our behalf are subject to appropriate restrictions on their use and protection of information. Third-party tools or external scheduling pages may also process information under their own privacy notices, depending on their role and the service used.
Legal requests and protection. We may disclose relevant information when required by law or a valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect rights or investigate a security incident.
Business transfers. If ZCO’s business or relevant assets are transferred, associated information may be transferred subject to applicable privacy obligations.
We do not sell lists of contact details submitted through the website to data brokers. We use and disclose information for the purposes stated in this Policy and do not treat this website Policy as authorisation to disclose an enterprise customer’s operational information.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect website information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure and loss. Access is limited to personnel and providers with a business need. We review suspected security incidents and provide notifications when required by applicable law. Because no internet service can guarantee absolute security, we also encourage visitors to avoid including confidential records in a public enquiry form and to report a suspected issue to info@zerocarbon.one.
We retain enquiry records while the business discussion is active and for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required for a contract, dispute or legal obligation. Website security logs are normally retained for up to 12 months, unless needed to investigate an incident or comply with law. Promotional opt-outs are kept as needed to honour those choices. We delete or de-identify information when its applicable retention period ends.
Cookie lifetimes depend on their purpose and configuration: some expire at the end of a browser session, while others remain until their configured expiry or deletion. We retain Analytics and Marketing information only for as long as needed for the stated purposes and applicable legal requirements. Records of cookie choices are retained as needed to honour preferences and demonstrate compliance.
You may ask us about personal information held through the public website and, subject to applicable law, request access, correction or deletion, withdraw a consent, object to certain processing or opt out of promotional communications. You may disable optional Analytics and Marketing through the website cookie settings. Where applicable law provides additional rights to opt out of targeted advertising or associated data sharing, we honour those rights. Send requests to info@zerocarbon.one. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request so that another person cannot obtain or change your information. You may also complain to a competent privacy authority where applicable law gives you that right.
Withdrawal does not undo processing lawfully completed before it and does not require deletion of information that we must retain for a valid legal reason.
This is a business website intended for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and people under 18 should not use its forms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a child has supplied information, they should contact info@zerocarbon.one. We will review the matter and take appropriate steps to delete the information, subject to any legal requirement to retain a record.
The website may link to third-party websites or scheduling services. We do not control their privacy practices or content. Their own privacy notices apply when you choose to use them.
We may revise this Policy. The current version will be available on this website.
